Let video do the hard work...

We hope you're well. We wanted to say hi and let you know what we've been up to over the last couple of months at Janno Media. We've been working on lots of really interesting podcasts - something which is proving very popular with clients and their audiences. We're still doing a lot in the way of remote production, which helps keep clients engaged with their audiences. We're also working on some really inspiring animations for children in, or on the edge of care, which you can see below.

If you have any ideas that you'd like to explore, or you want to find out more about how our solutions can help you and your brand, then get in touch today.

North Yorkshire County Council’s ‘No Wrong Door®’

We’re creating two inspiring new animations showcasing North Yorkshire County Council’s award-winning ‘No Wrong Door®’ model.

The powerful stories of ‘Maria’  and ‘Travis’ will be used to highlight this innovative way of supporting young people who are cared for, or on the edge of care.

No Wrong Door® replaces traditional children’s homes with hubs which offer in-house multi-disciplinary support to these young people. We were asked to produce two videos by the Central Delivery Team to raise awareness and enhance training on this groundbreaking approach.

The animated story of Maria introduces this approach to supporting adolescents through a real, relatable and engaging narrative.

The second animation juxtaposes two potential paths which Travis may take. The traditional route of entering a residential care home, versus the No Wrong Door® route.

We're working closely with the No Wrong Door® team to create bold, engaging and gritty animations which really pack a punch.

The videos will be used by the team, to educate council staff and help implement this model in local authorities across the UK and beyond.

The first of two videos for North Yorkshire County Council's No Wrong Door® features teenager, Maria.
“Thank you for your support with developing a challenging and unique subject matter into something innovative, eye-catching and inspiring. The communication, ideas generated and end products have far surpassed expectations. The videos will be impactful in helping us deliver key messages around supporting adolescents who are experiencing challenges in their lives.”

Introducing: The Scene Podcast

We’ve loved seeing our exciting new collaboration unfold this summer. The Scene is a new podcast series created by female-led theatre company, Get Over It Productions.

This engaging, new series resurrects brilliant scripts from their hugely popular writing night – The Scene, which they usually perform at The Chiswick Playhouse.

The show has been pulled together remotely over lockdown, by a collective of creatives all eager to keep audiences entertained.

Once the actors and directors have done their work remotely, our talented in-house sound engineers edit, polish and master the podcasts ready for launch.

Episodes are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube.
