Hello,

Welcome to ContentED #117!  This week is a guest edit from Claire Farrelly, Senior Legal Marketing Expert at TBD Marketing

For my curated selection of media I was compelled to share a broad mix covering my top interests – interior design, feminism and neurodiversity.

A particular theme for me is female empowerment and re-educating ourselves so that we can see a life beyond the patriarchy. On this note, Laura Bates (for me) is the leading voice for all of us in getting to grips with the challenges and threats women face on a daily basis – reading her content in alignment with the daily posts from ‘Cheer Up Luv’ is a stark reminder that we still have a long way to go until we have true equality.

I like to balance the seriousness of female safety and feminism with a daily peek at the beautiful home of SHNordic. Her stunning home was up for sale last year and I did contemplate a move to Bath just to live her aesthetic.

I keep my sock draw and general piles of stuff in check with help from Sort Your Life Out and I follow the brilliant Dilly on Insta for a daily reminder on how to de-clutter.

Audible | Men Who Hate Women
An explosive book examining the rise of secretive, extremist communities who despise women. In this ground-breaking investigation, Laura traces the roots of misogyny across a complex spiders web of groups extending from men's rights activists and pick-up artists to Men Going Their Own Way, trolls and the Incel movement, in the name of which some men have committed terrorist acts.

Podcast | Who Trolled Amber?
What comes to mind when you think of Amber Heard? Liar? Survivor? Narcissist? Millions of us watched the celebrity trial of the century, Depp v Heard, in 2022. Amber Heard lost and Johnny Depp was vindicated. But what if Amber was actually the victim of an organised trolling campaign? What if the online hate against her was manufactured?
