YouTube | Assume That I Can
"This is a short piece of content from You Tube which seeks to challenge assumptions made about people with Down Syndrome. The campaign which launched for World Down Syndrome Day in March 2024 is called 'Assume that I Can' and was created by CoorDown, a non-profit which aims to activate social communication actions to raise awareness of the potential of people with Down syndrome.
ASSUME THAT I CAN | World Down Syndrome Day 2024
I love this piece of content as it genuinely challenges assumptions whilst offering a 'can do' positive messaging. How by reframing our thinking and judgements of others can lead to more fulfilling and inclusive lives for many more in society."

Podcast | Terri White: Finding Britain's Ghost Children
"This podcast from BBC Sounds and Terri White has recently won the Gold awards for best Factual Series at the ARIAs 2024. The podcast explores Terri's own experience of school being as safe haven from her own childhood abuse, and seeks to find the reasons why over 100,000 children are missing from school post pandemic.
This is a well researched and presented documentary series, with unprecedented access to social workers, exposing the complexities of the current problem of absent children, and the burden put upon schools and teaching staff to pick up the slack for reduced social services."

Podcast | Best Friend Therapy
"This Podcast 'Best Friend Therapy' has sadly recently come to an end. I find it the most helpful podcast for explaining psychotherapeutic concepts for therapists and clients alike. This episode in particular I offer to my clients after my 'Working With Your Inner Critic' Workshop.
It is an overview of Transactional Analysis and the Parent, Adult Child ego states and really helps begin to generate greater self-awareness and how to develop a more 'Adult' way of seeing things."

TV | The Traitors
"Part of my work includes on-set welfare for film and TV. The Traitors is not only EXCEPTIONAL television, it has welfare as best practice baked into the production. You can tell that everyone is being looked after, and it helps the viewer to enjoy the twists, turns and drama of the show.
I love watching how some people easily fit the role of traitor, and others struggle. A real treat if you are a fan of human behaviour, and Claudia Winkleman's outfits are a character in their own right!"

TV | Race Across the World
"Appease some of your wanderlust by watching teams race across the world, using only land and sea transfers and a tiny budget of £27 per person per day. It inspires me to take more trips, to run away and explore. The casting is wonderfully diverse and the celebrity edition is hilarious. Really easy, often adrenaline fuelled viewing."
