The Innocence Project London (IPL), based at the University of Greenwich, is dedicated to investigating cases of individuals who maintain their innocence after exhausting the criminal appeals process. IPL’s mission includes raising awareness about wrongful convictions and seeking justice through student-led case reviews. The brief
IPL were looking for a professional production partner to create engaging podcasts that would amplify their mission and raise awareness of wrongful convictions. Janno Media was tasked with capturing compelling stories and insights while ensuring a seamless and flexible production process.
Our Approach
Janno Media provided end-to-end production services for IPL. In 2023, we brought our mobile podcast recording studio to the University of Greenwich, enabling on-site recordings with IPL Director Dr. Louise Hewitt and her students. For the 2024 mini-series, we shifted to a fully remote setup, ensuring convenience for all participants. We worked closely with IPL to authentically represent the voices of those involved in innocence work, bringing their stories to a broader audience.
