Doing our bit for Lymphoma Action

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, so there is no better time for us to announce our new partnership with Lymphoma Action.

We’re delighted to be donating our time, expertise and services to help raise awareness of lymphoma through the production, distribution and hosting of their new podcast series.

In Lymphoma Action’s first ‘Lymphoma Voices’ podcast, Dr Sarah Jarvis (Good Morning Britain, The One Show, The Jeremy Vine Show) explains what lymphoma is; the signs and symptoms and why it can take a long time to get a diagnosis of lymphoma.

We look forward to working with the team at Lymphoma Action to support them in their work to inform, support and connect those with lymphoma.

Following the production of each podcast, our team will make episodes available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and our podcasting publishing platform will enable embedded episodes to feature on the Lymphoma Action website.

Around 125,000 people in the UK are living with lymphoma, making it the UK’s fifth most common cancer. Lymphoma Action is the only UK charity dedicated to providing information and support to people affected by lymphoma including families, friends and carers.

Matt Wallace, Managing Producer at Janno Media says:

“With a few changes to our approach since COVID-19, we’ve managed to not only survive the past few months, but actually grow.  We feel really lucky and hugely grateful. With that in mind though, we want to support organisations however we can in order that they can do the same.

Lymphoma Action is a fantastic charity and one that I’ve personally supported through fundraising before, so I’m delighted that we’re able to offer a helping hand during what is a challenging time for so many charities.”

Ropinder Gill, Chief Executive at Lymphoma Action adds:

“On behalf of Lymphoma Action, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Janno Media for helping us launch our first ever Lymphoma Voices podcast, and for offering their ongoing support in the production of future episodes. Our podcast series will help us to raise awareness of lymphoma with a wider audience via platforms that we have not used before. We are truly grateful to Janno Media for helping us to make that happen, and for all of their support that they have given us as a charity.”
