Our Head of Podcasts, Sass had the opportunity to embark on an exciting adventure this summer alongside metal detecting enthusiast Digger Dawn.
Sass’ trip came about thanks to our ContentED newsletter, which celebrates great digital content. Dawn’s entertaining YouTube channel, showcasing her metal detecting escapades, caught our attention and swiftly found its way into an issue of ContentED.
Excited by a comment from Dawn on social media, we reached out, leading to an invitation for Sassy to join Dawn on her adventures.
After heading to the picturesque village of Morda in Shropshire, Sassy immersed herself in Dawn and fellow treasure hunter, Chris Langston’s metal detecting pursuits.
Recording an on-the-go podcast episode, Sassy captured the duo’s enthusiasm and expertise, wrapping up with a few questions in the local pub.
As well as now knowing more than the average person about metal detecting, Sass worked her post-production magic, and the episode is a great listen.
