Janno Media Proudly Renews Sponsorship with Great Kingshill Cricket Club

For the past three years, it’s been a pleasure to see the Janno logo front and centre on the men’s teams’ shirts and watching these teams play has been great. When we caught up with Alex Hallatt from the GKCC Committee, it was clear that there were some exciting new opportunities to expand our support. Alex emphasised the club’s commitment to invest in junior cricket and ensure ongoing involvement for girls in the sport at GKCC, aligning perfectly with other recent sponsorship initiatives at Janno Media.
Supporting Youth Cricket
GKCC is always looking for ways to ensure that its junior members are given the best opportunity to develop during their time in age group cricket. This year the club have brought in a professional coach from Future Legends to lead some of the youth training sessions. This ensures that young cricketers from U15 to U19 receive consistent, high-quality coaching, which is crucial to their continued improvement and preparation for senior cricket.
Supporting Girls’ Cricket
Girls’ cricket is a growing priority at GKCC, and we are excited to support their efforts. While the club has seen a strong intake of girls aged 4-8, maintaining participation as they transition to hard ball cricket has been challenging. To address this, GKCC is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment. They have introduced girls-only teams at and are working towards retaining more talented players in the older age groups.
A key part of this initiative is hiring a highly qualified female coach to lead the girls’ teams. This coach will provide tailored training and create an atmosphere that encourages young female cricketers to thrive. Additionally, plans for upgrading the pavilion will ensure high-standard facilities that support cricket for both sexes.
