Janno
Media
Award

Established in 2022 as a collaboration between Janno Media and Nottingham Trent University (NTU), the Janno Media Award supports aspiring broadcast journalists on their podcasting journey.
In the form of a £5,000 bursary, the Janno Media Award provides a significant opportunity for students at NTU’s Centre for Broadcasting & Journalism. It’s awarded annually to the the best entry for the final year ‘Podcasting’ module, where students are asked to produce a one-off podcast episode on a subject of their choice.

In addition to support and guidance from the established podcast team here at Janno Media, the recipients of the Janno Media Award are furnished with a mobile state-of-the-art podcasting kit to turn their one-off episode into a published podcast series.
As well as providing opportunities for those looking to explore their podcasting ambitions, the award enables Janno Media to give back to the university community that played such a vital role in the personal and professional development of Janno Media Founder, Matt Wallace.
