Ashurst Video Podcast

Project overview

Global law firm Ashurst engaged Janno Media to produce a six-part mini-series as part of their Legal Outlook podcast. This Financial Services Regulatory Enforcement mini-series combines both in-person and video podcast episodes to enhance audience engagement and provide expert insights into regulatory developments.

The brief

Ashurst wanted a compelling podcast series that explored new approaches by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Each episode delves into concerns about regulatory investigations and offers suggestions on how regulators can act more fairly and effectively. To maximize engagement, Ashurst opted for a mix of in-person recordings and video episodes.

Our Approach

Janno Media worked closely with Ashurst to plan and execute a seamless recording process. Our mobile recording studio was set up at their London office for the in-person episodes, ensuring high-quality audio and a professional atmosphere. We managed both the production and post-production, creating visually engaging content that resonated with their audience. Additionally, we produced short video trailers to act as signposts, driving viewers to the full episodes and boosting engagement.

Key Highlights

  • Six-part mini-series for Legal Outlook podcast.
  • Four in-person recordings at Ashurst’s Fruit & Wool Exchange office in London.
  • Two video podcast episodes to increase engagement.
  • Full on-location recording and post-production by Janno Media’s Head of Podcasts.
  • Creation of engaging short video trailers to drive audience interest.
  • Long-term partnership with Ashurst, including work on their award-winning ESG Matters podcast, video, and motion graphics projects.

The result

The Financial Services Regulatory Enforcement mini-series successfully expanded Ashurst’s podcast offering, reaching a broader audience through a mix of in-person and video formats. The video trailers proved effective in driving traffic to the full episodes, demonstrating the power of integrating video into podcasting. As Ashurst continues to explore video content, Janno Media remains a trusted partner in delivering high-quality productions that engage, inform and inspire.
