Janno Media Founder, Matt Wallace, always enjoys the opportunity to reconnect with Nottingham Trent University (NTU), where he both studied and worked. Following a degree in Communication Studies and sabbatical roles at the Students’ Union, Matt went on to work in the University’s Press Office, which laid the foundation for what would become Janno Media.

Strengthening Ties with the Janno Media Award
Since the inception of the Janno Media Award, our relationship with NTU has only grown stronger. This £5,000 bursary is awarded to a Journalism or Broadcast Journalism student, enabling them to transform a podcast episode submitted for their ‘Podcasting’ module into a fully-fledged series. We’re currently in the process of selecting the third recipient of this prestigious award, and we’re excited to foster new talent each year.
