London Legal Walk 2021: Access to Justice

Wednesday, October 27th, 2021

We had a great time recording a roaming podcast episode for ReImagine Law at the London Legal Walk last week.

We’ve been working with ReImagine Law on their legal podcast series for over a year now and jumped at the chance to record their latest episode at the sponsored walk which raises funds for free legal advice charities in and around London.

Over 8,500 walkers took part in celebration of the legal community supporting access to justice, raising over £585,000 (and still counting) for event organisers, London Legal Support Trust.

Our Head of Podcasts, Sassy Clyde along with Frances Ridout (Director at the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre) and the ReImagine Law team spent the walk discussing access to justice with lots of interesting guests.

Discussions on access to justice were recorded with:

  • Derek Sweeting QC (Chair of the Bar)
  • Lubna Shujan (Vice-President of the Law Society)
  • Bob Nightingale MBE (LLST)
  • Elizabeth Harper (LLST)
  • Amanda Illing (LLST)
  • Robert Rinder MBE
  • Paola Bruni (Dentons)
  • Matthew Leopold (Lexis Nexis)
  • Ralph Cox, Ifeoluwa Ogunsakin, and Rachel Robbins (Clyde and Co)

We really enjoyed working on this episode for the ReImagine Law team, which should get them well on their way to 5,000 episode downloads of this brilliant podcast series.

  • Janno Media have been outstanding to collaborate with on our new podcast ReImagineLaw. Their professionalism, production skills, and helpful ideas have been fundamental to this project. They genuinely believed in our vision and helped us to develop it. From recording tips, and project development ideas, right through to helping our co-hosts and guests feel comfortable on air; we simply could not have launched without Janno Media. A heartfelt thank you from all of us.
